Adaptive Leadership, but with Italian flare

We believe that leadership is the driving force behind adaptation in organizations and communities, and we aim to broaden the platform of individuals who can engage in its practice.

Our work is based on the Adaptive Leadership approach developed by Marty Linsky and Ronald Heifetz at the Kennedy School of Harvard University.

Our goal is to translate the driving energy that inspires people to improve their individual leadership into a movement of collective leadership with positive impacts on society as a whole.

Mission & Vision

Mission

We promote the learning and practice of leadership for everyone, regardless of their role or personal characteristics. The Institute is committed to sharing the tools needed to exercise leadership effectively, demonstrating that every individual can be an agent of change.

Vision

We envision a future in which communities are aware of the challenges they face and act as catalysts for innovation, justice, and sustainable progress. A world where every individual, organization, and institution consciously exercises leadership, contributing to the creation of a more equitable and prosperous society.

Our logo

Inspired by the work of American designer Walter Ballmer, who worked for many years with Olivetti, our logo seeks a balance between tradition and the future, between solidity and emergence, between institutional presence and playfulness.

At the heart of the O LI logo, you’ll find an invitation to explore the unexpected. The wide space between the ‘O’ and the ‘L’ is not just a graphic element: it’s a symbol of opportunity, an invitation to reflect, a call to enter and contribute. A visual pause that sparks questions, connections, and new perspectives.

This is a logo that isn’t only representative—it also engages in dialogue with those who observe it, inviting them to step forward, to claim that space, and to fill it.

In this way, the logo becomes not only a visual identity but a manifesto of our philosophy, where leadership is an invitation to step up and renew one’s community.
