Agenzia TPL
Leadership in Public Tranaport
Building a Shared Identity in Scenarios of Transformation and Renewal
Client
Agenzia TPL (The Agency for Local Public Transport) is the entity responsible for the planning, organization, monitoring, and control of public transport services in the territorial areas of Milan, Monza and Brianza, Lodi, and Pavia.
Need
In a public transport company, corporate identity plays a central role in defining operational strategies and balancing economic goals with social responsibility. The dichotomy between outcomes (strategic results) and outputs (operational results) calls for deep reflection to harmonize economic needs with social obligations.
Intervention
The project focused on supporting the creation of a shared identity by facilitating a collective reflection on the organization’s essence and the role of leadership in times of transformation.
Approach:
The Adaptive Leadership method, developed at Harvard University and introduced in Italy through the Olivetti Leadership Institute, guided the group in distinguishing the components of identity to preserve, discard, or acquire. Through experiential activities and structured dialogue, participants developed a clearer and more shared vision of the corporate identity.
