Schools, Universities & Youth
Schools must face and manage a context of continuous change in order to remain spaces of learning and growth. Adaptive Leadership, developed at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, provides the tools to develop new skills, fostering a strong and inclusive learning environment that engages school leaders, teachers, and students.
Our programs help develop new skills and innovative capabilities, as well as a culture of shared leadership. Through a collaborative approach, we encourage the active involvement of school leaders, teachers, and students so that learning becomes a lasting transformation of knowledge, skills, and attitudes — the result of an experience that engages participants physically, cognitively, and emotionally.
OUR WORK WITH STUDENTS
CIVIC EDUCATION
Civic education programs are based on Adaptive Leadership and aim to develop students’ critical thinking, helping them understand leadership as a practice that everyone can exercise and strengthen in order to actively participate in community life.
ORIENTATION
Orientation is essential to help students make informed and conscious choices about their future. Our orientation programs strengthen students’ ability to define their ambitions and aspirations, while also helping them better understand their role within society.
CURRICULAR DEVELOPMENT
Our curriculum enrichment programs offer students the opportunity to explore new areas of interest and develop cross-disciplinary skills, fostering curiosity and critical thinking for well-rounded, multidisciplinary growth.
OUR WORK WITH TEACHERS AND SCHOOL PRINCIPALS
Training is essential to create a positive and innovative school environment. Through our two training programs, we support teachers and school leaders in developing leadership and relationship management skills, promoting the well-being of the entire school community, and rethinking learning practices at a time when AI is increasingly becoming a significant force for change.
Well-being at school: managing relationships
A program designed to create a school environment that fosters well-being, growth, and engagement for all. Teachers and school leaders will gain skills to build and manage positive relationships with students and colleagues, making well-being a shared goal.
School and Technology: Tools for the Digital Transition
Through moments of experimentation and dialogue, this program helps manage the uncertainties of change and encourages students and colleagues to adopt new digital practices.
CASE STUDIES
Case Study 1: Orientation Project at Liceo C. Botta in Ivrea (TO)
A four-hour workshop delivered to all students in the 4th and 5th years of the Institute, aimed at clarifying their ambitions and aspirations from an orientation perspective. The program strengthened their ability to make informed and conscious decisions about their future, helped them better understand their role within the communities they live in, and provided them with tools to participate actively and responsibly.
Case Study 2: Educational Enrichment Program at Majorana Institute, Turin
A day and a half of activities focused on developing adaptive leadership skills, delivered to a 4th-year class at the Institute, with the goal of enhancing students’ analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Case Study 3: Supporting Teachers in Strengthening Student Relationships
Need
The teacher is a central resource for the positive development and well-being of students, which are key factors in the quality of learning. Their behavior and the quality of the relationship established with students have a significant impact on the classroom climate and the formation of the class group.
Work Undertaken
Rethinking new practices through the framework of Adaptive Leadership to better understand student classroom dynamics and thus act more effectively in building a positive and nurturing learning environment for students.
